Fame is a social construct, that is used in accordance to perstiege and importance.

However, how does it affect a person, and is it needed?

Essentially, one premise claims that the more famous someone is, the more powerful they are, and the more powerful someone is, the more meaningful their lives.

But is fame actually needed?

In terms of how it affects an individual (as opposed to a group), is unhealthy, because (almost always) the power one receives from it goes to egoistic patterns.

However, fame, for a group, or more than one person, can be very healthy and in actuality, helpful. A group which is famous, will think critically how to use it, in order to benefit more than one person.

In terms of individual fame, we need to remember that fame often serves itself (or the people “consuming” the famous person), instead of vice versa, and then the relationship between that one person and a group of people is ill.
